Your journey begins with a morning departure from Marrakech, crossing the scenic High Atlas Mountains via the Tizi n’Tichka Pass. After exploring this ancient fortress, continue to Ouarzazate, known as the “Hollywood of Africa,” and admire the historic Kasbah Taourirt. Passing through the Rose Valley, you’ll visit a local rose distillation cooperative before heading to Dades, where you will stay overnight amid the majestic rock formations known as “Monkey Fingers.”
Today’s adventure takes you through the dramatic Todra Gorge, where you can take a short walk between towering 300-meter cliffs. Continuing towards the Sahara, pass through Erfoud, famous for its fossils and annual dates festival. Arriving in Merzouga, embark on a camel trek across the golden Erg Chebbi dunes, pausing to witness a stunning desert sunset.
