- Itinerary :

8:00 AM – Departure from Marrakech: Your day begins with a scenic drive from Marrakech towards Ouarzazate. Along the way, enjoy stunning views of the valleys and Berber villages, where locals trade semi-precious stones. As we venture south, the lush landscape gives way to the semi-desert of Marrakech. Here, we’ll stop to explore a traditional mud-and-straw kasbah. Mid-Morning – Arrival at Ouarzazate: Upon arriving in Ouarzazate, visit the impressive Taourirt Kasbah, the former residence of the powerful Pacha El Glaoui. Then, head to Ait Ben Haddou, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. This perfectly preserved fortified village has been the setting for several iconic films and TV series, including Gladiator, Kingdom of Heaven, Babel, Prince of Persia, The Mummy, and Game of Thrones (where it was used as the backdrop for Daenerys Targaryan’s dramatic scene in season 3). Afternoon – Visit Atlas Film Studios: To complete your tour, explore the Atlas Film Studios, where scenes from famous movies were filmed. Learn about the cinematic significance of this region and the role it plays in Morocco’s movie industry. Optional Guided Tour: While entry to Ait Ben Haddou is free, you may choose to hire a local guide to enrich your experience. The cost of a guide is approximately €2 per person.
