Day 1: Fes to Merzouga Desert via Middle Atlas

Your 2-day desert adventure begins with a pick-up from your Fes hotel in the morning. Your first stop will be in Ifrane, often referred to as the "Swiss of Morocco," where you can enjoy the picturesque surroundings and snap some memorable photos. Next, head to Azrou to observe the Barbary macaques in the Cedar Forest. Continue your journey to Midelt, known as Morocco’s "apple capital," for a delicious local lunch. In the afternoon, cross the Tizi N’Talghoumt pass, reaching Errachidia while admiring the views of the Ziz Valley. The journey continues towards the Erg Chebbi dunes, passing through Aoufous and Erfoud, famous for its fossils.
