Upon your arrival in Fes, our team will welcome you and transfer you to your hotel or riad. Depending on your arrival time, you may have the opportunity to explore the city and get a first glimpse of its historical charm.
Dedicate a full day to exploring the cultural and intellectual capital of Morocco. Visit the renowned Medersas (Koranic schools) such as Chahrij, Bou Inania, and Attarine. Wander through the vibrant souks, explore Fes El-Jedid, and admire the magnificent Karaouine Mosque, considered one of the world’s oldest universities.
After breakfast, depart from Fes and journey through Ifrane, often called "Moroccan Switzerland." Continue through the Cedar Forest, home to Barbary macaques, before heading toward the stunning Ziz Valley. Arrive in Merzouga in the late afternoon and enjoy a camel trek into the dunes. Watch the sunset before spending the night in a desert camp under the stars, with a traditional Berber dinner.
Wake up early to witness a spectacular sunrise over the dunes before returning to the camp for breakfast. Today’s adventure includes a 4x4 tour around the region, stopping at Dayet Srji Lake, a haven for flamingos, and visiting a local Gnawa music house in Khamlia village. Explore desert landscapes where nomadic families live and discover the route of the famous Paris-Dakar Rally. Return to your accommodation in Merzouga for the night.
After breakfast, depart for Fes via Rissani, an important historical trading center. Drive through the scenic Ziz Valley and marvel at its lush palm groves. Stop in Azrou’s Cedar Forest to see the wild monkeys before passing through Ifrane. Arrive in Fes in the afternoon and check into your accommodation.
At the designated time, we will transfer you to Fes Airport, marking the end of your incredible 6-day desert journey.
